@U2 QOM June 2011: A T-Shirt for U2

Bookmark and Share
You have the chance to give a band member a T-shirt to wear on stage! Who gets the shirt and what is on it?

(Each month, @U2 puts a spotlight on U2 fans with our "Question of the Month." We pose a question to our readers and invite answers of 200 words or less. If you're interested in taking part, check our home page to see if the current question is still open. If not, check back shortly after the beginning of next month and we'll have another question ready to be answered!)

@U2 Question of the MonthEls Bodifee: The T-shirt would have to be for Larry. Who else can make a simple T-shirt so sexy!! The text on the T-shirt would read: I'm the sexiest drummer in the world!

Graham Semple: Who gets the t-shirt: Edge. What does it say: Save Ferris. Maria Dorio: My t- shirt would be for Bono – The world can be united with music and love.

Dave Thomas: My shirt goes to Larry and it says The Leader.

Melanie Mattila: I'd give Bono an Edmonton Oilers Gilbert Brule t-shirt (the kind with the name and number on the back, like a jersey), in honor of Brule picking him up and Bono saying he wanted to be Brule. :)

Elsha Stockseth : I would give the shirt to Bono. It is a shirt that I designed to raise money for The African Well Fund's 2009 campaign "70 Days to Change the World" their theme for that year of their annual "Build a Well for Bono's Birthday" project. I designed the logo which a graphic line picture of the world in blue and white with a big red African continent on the top over it. Cut out of Africa it says, "70 Days" with the other words in half circles above and below the world. It was really fun to design and I hope it raised a lot of money so we "can change the world."
