After all the excitement that happened Friday, this weekend was pretty quiet in New York City where U2 was concerned. Bono was spotted on Saturday dining out with Danger Mouse (it looks like him, at least) and was seen again on Sunday walking around NYC (with a very tall lady).
Meanwhile, things appear to be wrapping up to some degree at Electric Lady Studios. U2log.com tweeted out a photo showing Edge's gear being loaded out of the studio and into a waiting van.
It appears U2 are winding down at Electric Lady. Dallas & ELS staff packed Edge's equipment. At least 10 guitars. twitter.com/U2log/status/3…— U2log.com (@U2log) June 2, 2013
It's entirely possible that Danger Mouse could continue working on his own at the studio (or elsewhere), but that photo is a sign that U2's work there is pretty much over. While Edge's gear was being packed up, Edge himself was spotted at the Forbidden Fruit music festival in Dublin on Sunday.
Thanks to all the fans on Twitter and elsewhere that helped share and spread news around this weekend!
