Two Live U2 Songs on New Amnesty ‘Get Up Stand Up’ Compilation

Bookmark and Share

Two live U2 tracks are included on a new Amnesty International compilation called Get Up! Stand Up! that's already out now in the UK, and will be available as an import in the US next week. It's the first in what looks like will be a series of releases from Amnesty's charity concert tours between 1986 and 1998; this release involves songs and performances from the Conspiracy of Hope tour in 1986.

According to the Amazon UK page for the 2-CD set, U2's songs are "MLK/Pride" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday." We're guessing these are from the final show on June 15, 1986. There's also a UK DVD that's also available now, but the Amazon UK page doesn't include a track list.

Amazon.com is also listing the 2-CD set and DVD as imports that will be available next week.

According to the official website of Amnesty's Human Rights Concerts, all of the concert material (from all tours) will be released later this year in a box set.
