There's a new U2-themed T-shirt available just in time for the holidays. And for those who like their shopping to help a good cause, the T-shirt is released on International Human Rights Day (which is today) and is part of a Hard Rock project that will raise money for Amnesty International.
The T-shirt, which you can see at right, features a drawing of a Gibson Explorer guitar with wings and the words "Justice / Humanity / Equality" on the front, while the back features replicas of U2's autographs and other logos. According to the official news release, it's a navy blue EDUN T-shirt made of 100 percent African cotton.
The T-shirt can be ordered now through Hard Rock's website ($$26 USD) and will be available in February at Hard Rock locations around the world. Fifteen percent of the proceeds will go to Amnesty International.
Several years ago, Bono designed a "Fish Can Fly" T-shirt that also helped raise money as part of a Hard Rock campaign.
