Bono, The Edge and Adam were all on hand Thursday night as longtime friend Guggi opened a new art exhibit at Kerlin Gallery in Dublin. (Here's a bunch of photos.) But the newsworthy part of the night, for U2 fans at least, is what The Edge said to a writer from the Irish Sun about U2's next album:
"We're looking at having it out around the end of the summer."
That echoes what Larry Mullen said a couple weeks ago -- "I'd say we will be finished by the summer - and hopefully we will have something released by September." And Paul McGuinness made similar comments earlier this week.
Keep your fingers crossed...
