The Christmas Eve tradition continued today as Bono and friends busked again for charity on the streets of Dublin. According to @U2 reader Harry Kantas (see his tweet below), Bono joined in for two songs this year: a cover of Slade's "Merry Xmas Everybody" and the traditional hymn, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful." Glen Hansard, Damien Rice and other local artists were out performing along Grafton Street before Bono's appearance -- it's all in the name of raising money to fight homelessness in Dublin.
Hopefully some full-length videos will be online soon (and we'll update this article if so), but for now there's a short Instagram clip of "Merry Xmas Everybody" and another one here. And, as promised, we'll put Harry's photo-tweet here:
