Bono’s (Not So) Silent Night In Dublin

Bookmark and Share

Bono and friends Glen Hansard, Mundy, Declan O'Rourke and Liam O'Maonlai went busking on Grafton Street earlier today on behalf of two homeless charities: Simon Community and the Peter McVerry Trust. Because of the large crowd and safety concerns, everyone moved to the entrance of St. Stephens Green Park.

Singing "Silent Night," Bono was able to get the large crowd of supporters to hum along. You can sing (or hum) along with him too:

The band of buskers also sang "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," and here's video of that. (From what we understand, this was the first song they sung.)

They also did Mic Christopher's song, "Heyday," though it appears yer man wasn't too familiar with the lyrics for that one. Bono left after this song, while the others continued singing.
