Bono and The Edge are now confirmed participants at this weekend's Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports that they'll attend a screening of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom on Sunday morning, and then do a Q&A afterward with the film's stars, Idris Elba and Naomie Harris. U2 is also set to receive the festival's Visionary Award on Saturday evening, which Bono and Edge will also presumably attend.
Saturday evening is also the final Broadway performance of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, the production for which Bono and Edge wrote the music. So if they're planning to say goodbye to the current cast and crew, it seems like they'll have to do that tonight or Friday.
