Bono Talks to Letterman, Doesn’t Say Much About New Album

Bookmark and Share

Bono sat down for a short chat Thursday night on The Late Show with David Letterman and the host didn't disappoint anxious U2 fans -- his second question asked Bono for a status report on what U2 is doing at the moment.

Unfortunately for the anxious, Bono pretty much avoided the question. He answered with some of his well-worn comments like "very good is the enemy of great" and "who needs a U2 album? There's loads of them out there" and "we have to make a great U2 album" and so forth. In other words: No news to report.

Still, you can see for yourself if you missed it on CBS. The full interview is embedded below and the question about U2's album plans comes at about the 3:15 mark.
